Leigh Askew Elkins (she/her), Senior Public Service Associate at the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, provides technical assistance to governments and agencies at the local, state, and federal levels to support natural resource planning and policy. She designs and relies upon stakeholder processes that allow for broad and diverse public participation in planning, design, and policy decision-making. Elkins joined the University of Georgia in 2005 to manage the public input process and oversee the writing of Georgia’s Statewide Water Management Plan. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis and Policy from Boston University and received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Return to Who We Are
