Dr. Sechindra Vallury (he/him) is a resource economist who uses interdisciplinary social sciences to conduct policy-facing research on issues of climate adaptation and water governance in the U.S. and the Global South, with an emphasis on addressing social and economic inequities. He earned his PhD in Sustainability at the Arizona State University in 2019. Vallury is currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Policy at the Odum School of Ecology and the Director of Policy at the UGA River Basin Center, a center dedicated to connecting water-related expertise to management and policy needs.
