The SE-WREN Approach

The SE-WREN Approach

What is SE-WREN?

SE-WREN is a network of researchers, practitioners, and community members that centers people to identify and develop responses to water challenges across urban and rural areas.

The SE-WREN approach is based on three key principles of sustainable water futures:
Community centered: starting with people and working outwards; equity and justice: access to water services for all; Holistic approach: tackling issues that impede sustainable water service delivery
The SE-WREN approach incorporates collaborative strategies that engage a diverse spectrum of stakeholders.

Active listening, collective learning, joint action; researchers, policy makers, communities, private and public sector, practitioners.
