Photo of Dr. Santiago CollazoFélix Santiago-Collazo is an Assistant Professor in Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainability and Equity at the School of Environmental, Civil, Agriculture, and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Georgia. Felix holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. Felix has a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from the Puerto Rico and Georgia Boards and has more than nine years of experience in flood modeling. Felix’s research interests include Multi-flood hazard assessments, Hybrid infrastructure solutions, Water equity, and Flood Resilience. Dr. Santiago-Collazo is an affiliated faculty member of the Institute for Resilient Infrastructures Systems and the Center for Integrative Conservation Research, a CORE Faculty member at the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute, and an engineering advisor on the board of the River Basin Center.  He is the Environmental Engineering Subject Editor for the American Journal of Undergraduate Research.
