Dr. Seth Wenger (he/him) is a freshwater ecologist and conservation biologist who uses interdisciplinary approaches to tackle applied water-related issues of societal importance. He earned his Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of Georgia in 2006 and worked for the nonprofit organization Trout Unlimited for five years before returning to UGA in a faculty position. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Odum School of Ecology and the Director of Science at the UGA River Basin Center, a center dedicated to connecting water-related expertise to management and policy needs.
